Do I need any technical skills?

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Do you charge a markup on WhatsApp messages?
No. WhatsApp conversation fees are billed at Meta’s exact cost and passed straight through to you. SMS-in, email, Instagram, Messenger and Telegram carry no Saaro fee at all. You pay a predictable platform subscription, and the only metered usage on top is the optional AI voice agent.
How is the AI voice agent billed?
On a prepaid wallet, charged only per connected minute. Calls that do not connect are never billed, and you can set spend caps and alerts so costs stay under control.
Can I change plans as I grow?
Yes. Plans scale with your contacts, seats and channels. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your data and configuration carry over seamlessly.
Do prices change by country?
The platform subscription is shown in your local currency, and WhatsApp conversation rates follow Meta’s country- and category-specific pricing — always passed through at cost.

Is Saaro Connect an official WhatsApp Business solution?
Yes. Saaro Connect runs on the official WhatsApp Business API. Your number stays compliant, verified and ban-safe, with the 24-hour window and approved templates enforced automatically.
How do you handle the 24-hour window?
It is enforced for you. Outside the 24-hour customer-service window, the interface will not let an agent send a free-form message; it guides them to an approved template instead, and only to opted-in contacts.
Which data-protection laws do you support?
Saaro Connect is built to support GDPR in Europe, POPIA in South Africa, LGPD in Brazil and PDPL across the Middle East. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access and an append-only audit log.
Who owns the data?
You do. Your conversations, contacts and content remain yours, and you can export them at any time.
